Mark Hunt Calls Out Brock Lesnar On Twitter
Earlier today, it was revealed that Brock Lesnar had been flagged by USADA for an anti-doping violation.
The violation stems from an out of competition sample which was collected on June 28, 2016, prior to his highly anticipated fight with Mark Hunt at UFC 200.
In an exclusive interview with MarkHunt.TV earlier today, Hunt explained his initial concerns about the exemption were put to ease by the UFC.
“When they gave him the exemption to come back I wasn’t too happy about it but they assured me they were all over him,” Hunt told MarkHunt.TV.
Having lost to Lesnar at UFC 200, Hunt now wants at least half of Lesnar’s takings.
“I saw Brock made millions for this fight, more than anyone ever.” he said. “I wanna know what they are gonna do to Brock now. When you don’t make weight they give twenty percent of your purse to the other fighter. If you get caught cheating you should lose all of it.
“I’ve told Dana I want half of Brock’s purse.”
Having fought “cheaters” in the past, Hunt says enough is enough.
“They say they are trying to clean up the sport, but it doesn’t feel like it.” he said. “The UFC is basically saying if you cheat you won’t be penalised.
“This is the third time I’ve had to fight a cheater in my career. The other two times I didn’t ask for compensation, but this is the third time and I’m sick of them getting away with cheating.”
Hunt sent a clear message to the UFC… Either sort it out or he wants a release from his contract.
“I’ve told Dana that I want a release from the UFC if they don’t sort this out.” he said.
And after all of his media interviews on the topic, Hunt then took to Twitter to call out Lesnar in the most Hunt way possible.
