Paul Malignaggi‏ BREAKS RANKS Claims He Beat McGregor’s ASS When They Sparred

Conor McGregor’s recent sparring partner, former professional boxer Paulie Malignaggi, has got himself into a Twitter-fued with a McGregor fan after the fan posted a photograph that appears to show The Notorious knocking the former two-weight world champion to the canvas.

Malignaggi has been in training camp with McGregor, helping the UFC superstar sharpen his boxing skills ahead of his huge August 26 clash with Floyd Mayweather.

Things appeared to be going well but as many expected would happen with two egos of this size, their working relationship appears to be more strained by the day.

Here’s the tweet that kicked everything off:

Malignaggi immediately shot back a three-tweet volley, claiming that he had been exploited and the pic didn’t show a knockdown but rather a pushdown. He also challenged McGregor’s camp to release the full, unedited 12 rounds of their sparring session.

“Its not nice 2 paint a pic that isn’t true, this was a pushdown in sparring, post the whole video rounds 1 through 12 UNEDITED”

“The @ufc PI has cameras all over the gym recording 24/7. The video exists UNEDITED of rounds 1 through 12 Tuesday night, let the fans see.”

“I came to help this camp out, not to be exploited, now your gonna get the truth though. Post FULL UNEDITED VIDEO FROM TUES night #Ethics”

Any thoughts that this whole thing might blow over have been banished after further photographs emerged in which Malignaggi appears to be getting his arse kicked by McGregor.

Obviously, these pics don’t tell the whole story about what went down when the pair sparred each other but they will, no doubt, enrage Malignaggi further.

Would another outburst from the former champ surprise anyone? He’s long been known as someone who speaks his mind and not shy away from a fight, either inside or outside the ring.
