Terrifying Staredown Ends With Brutal MERKING Just 22 Seconds Later

Tonight’s card is headlined by Mark “Super Samoan” Hunt taking on heavyweight rival Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis. While the main event is guaranteed to bring fireworks, the rest of the card was unfortunately filled with relatively unknown names.

But as we often see, the smaller cards with low expectations sometimes deliver ten fold.

One fight which delivered was between Ion “The Hulk” Cutelaba taking on Henrique da Silva.

Ion Cutelaba

Cutelaba came into the fight with an 11-3 record, with 9 knockouts and 2 submissions. His opponent, also boasted an impressive 12-2 record with 11 knockouts to his name.

Henrique Da Silva

In a relatively weak division, the two light heavyweight prospects certainly wanted to make a statement, and Cutelaba took the opportunity.

At the weigh-ins yesterday, Cutelaba refused to shakes his opponents hand, and following with a faint to try and make his opponent flinch. It was from this moment, we knew the fight was going to be heated.

In the pre-fight staredown, Cutelaba moved away from his corner and walked right up to his opponent, signalling he planned to slit his throat.

It resembled something out of the WWE:

Usually cockiness like this backfires, but not on this occasion. Cutelaba stormed his opponent in the opening seconds, knocking him to the ground before finishing him with a vicious ground and pound.

With barely 20 seconds on the clock, the referee was forced to call the fight.

This is one of the scariest dude’s we’ve seen in the UFC. Who wants to see this man get a top 5 opponent?
